Wizards release 2013-14 schedule
The NBA 2013-14 schedule has been released and we find that the Washington Wizards will need to get off to a fast start — six of the first eight games are on the road. Even worse, three of those first eight games will be played against the two-time NBA champs Miami Heat, the Western Conference champs San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder, another of the best teams in the NBA. The season begins for the Wizards on October 30 in Detroit against the Pistons.
Washington’s longest home stand of the season, 5 games, will happen twice — January 15 through 22 and February 3rd through the ninth. The Wizards will go on a four-game road trip three times, once from mid-to-late December, once in late January and the final time in the back half of March.
The most grueling stretch of the season for Washington should be from November 19-30, when the team plays eight games in twelve days.
Here is the full schedule.
