Wizards Lose In OT @ Thunder

Updated: November 11, 2013

After leading for most of the game, the Washington Wizards dropped a 106-105 decision to the Thunder in Oklahoma City Sunday night.

Trailing by ten with four minutes to play, the comeback was the biggest in Thunder history since moving to Oklahoma. Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka combining for 58 points and 25 rebounds. Did Durant cast his spell on the Wizards?

Bradley Beal led the Wizards with a career high 34 points, but missed a potential game winner with two seconds to play in regulation. John Wall had a chance to win it in OT, but missed a running layup at the buzzer in OT.

After a slow start last season, Beal really came on. Some expect a breakout season and that Beal is poised to become the next great shooting guard in the Association.

Thunder guard Russell Westbrook and Washington forward Nene, were both ejected after both were tossed after receiving a second technical foul. The second Nene technical was questionable and may have impacted the game’s eventual outcome.
