Redskins sign LB Josh Hull
The Washington Redskins have signed linebacker Josh Hull, a special teams standout formerly with the St. Louis Rams. The Hull signing is the team’s reaction to losing LB Bryan Kehl for the season, after he tore an ACL during the loss in Dallas last Sunday night.
Hull, a 7th round draft pick, 254th overall, by the Rams out of Penn State in 2010 has 28 tackles and two forced fumbles during his NFL career. He’s 26-years-old and became a starter in college after LB Sean Lee, now a star with the Cowboys, was injured in 2008 and Hull stepped in to replace him. The Rams released Hull on August 30, 2013.
The Redskins have not yet signed anyone to replace long snapper Nick Sundberg, who is also gone for the season after sustaining an injury in Dallas.
