After getting the bad news that two special teamers — LB Bryan Kehl and LS Nick Sundberg — were lost for the season, the Redskins finally got some good news on the injury front when rookie CB David Amerson said he is “fine” after suffering a concussion during the Sunday night loss to Dallas.

Amerson suffered a concussion when he was the victim of a blindside helmet-to-helmet hit from Dallas’ Cameron Lawrence during a 90-yard kickoff return by the Cowboys in the third quarter. It was Amerson’s first concussion.

“I took one test so far, but like I said, I feel fine.”

Amerson will be re-tested on Thursday, according to NFL concussion protocols.
