Washington Redskins linebacker Jeremy Kimbrough suffered an injured shoulder — often reported as a separated shoulder — late in the second half of Washington’s win over the Tennessee Titans last Thursday night and the injury has now been diagnosed as a torn labrum.

Kimbrough is an undrafted rookie from Appalachian State who has been trying to make the roster as an inside backup to starters London Fletcher and Perry Riley. Kimbrough suffered the injury while trying to tackle Titans KR Mike Preston with just over two minutes left in regulation.

The injury brings Kimbrough’s 2013 season to an abrupt end.
