Redskins QB Robert Griffin III received permission to dress for the preseason game against the Tennessee Titans last night and he ran through some pre-game drills, but, as planned, he did not see the field and will not see the field for the duration of the preseason. However, while sitting on the sidelines Griffin was approached by an NBC4/Comcast reporter and asked if he would be ready for week one, September 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles. “No doubt,” Griffin replied confidently.
“I’m pretty confident it will all work out,” he said. “I want to make sure I stay in shape and am ready to play when my number is called come Week 1.”
