Gortat Big Against Knicks

Marcin Gortat scored 16 points and added 17 rebounds as the Wizards beat the New York Knicks 98-89 Saturday night at the Verizon Center. The win is the third in four games for the Washington.

John Wall stayed white hot, leading the Wizards with 31 points and seven assists. Bradley Beal has been having difficulty getting his shot to drop, but contributed a balanced 18 points, six assists and five rebounds. Carmelo Anthony paced New York with 23 points and a dozen boards, as the Knicks fall into last place in the Atlantic Division.
