with how Davis is playing, who in their right mind would trade us a decent secondary player for him??

They are nasty to confront but cowards at heart and will usually hide or play dead when challenged

    that's true . . . but secondary players, especially CB's are far more valued than TE's . . .

hmmm . . . interesting anyway . . . i'm not sold on Freeney yet as he hasn't played, due to injury at LB yet, but is a damn good pass rusher . . . banks is a throw in for sure . . . both Freeney and Davis are in the last year of their contract . . . Cooley could be brought back . . . why not give it a shot??

Jeez,i'm scared! we almost never agree! lol
I Don't know if Shanny would ever agree to it,But i would cut banks and grossman, resign cooley, and i'll catch hell for even thinking this, sign vince young to run the wild cat as long as he never passes! Kinda like the steelers used kordell stewart! It would prevent rg3 from running as much as he does so there would be less chance of him getting hurt! It scares the hell out of me when he takes off like he does!

while i do get concerned with RGIII running and the possibility of getting injured, that's one of the reasons we drafted him was he had the ability to do that . . . it will hold defenses honest and is one of the reasons Morris is getting as much room as he has been and partially why RGIII has completed more than 70% of his passes and has a QB rating of over 111 . . . definitely an exciting player to watch, which means the skins will get more national TV and more highlights (and new fans) . . .

More QB's get injured in the pocket than anyone ever did running the ball. It's much more dangerous to be a stationary target in the pocket with guys weighing 100 lbs more than you charging at your head, midsection and knees if you ask me. But don't ask me, ask Tom Brady, Carson Palmer, Randall Cunningham and every other passer who ever took one in the knee standing tall in the pocket. I'd rather take my chances with RGIII outside the pocket against DB's than in the pocket with LB's and DL.

I think part of the Davis 'problem' is a comfort level between a TE and a rookie QB. Again, just like Haslett, befor4e throwing people aside who had had success here, like Davis, let's give the relationship a chance to grow. Again, unless an injury occurs, I am good with David, Paul, and Paulsen

k . . . i'll give him sometime . . . don't have much of a choice as he is the started TE for the Skins . . . BUT, what happened to TE's being a rookie QB's best friend?? Where is Davis around the red zone?? Davis, with his size and athleticism should be a dominant TE, not an average run of the mill one . . . i personally think Paulsen is a better route runner and pass catcher than Davis . . .
