RGIII Named NFC Player of the Week!!!

    Source (PFT):

This Robert Griffin III kid is looking pretty good.

After an opening Sunday in which Griffin looked like a truly special player, he’s been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Griffin completed 19 of 26 passes for 320 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions, in the Redskins’ 40-32 win over the Saints on Sunday. Griffin also ran for 42 yards, but what was really impressive was that Griffin already looks like a poised and accurate passer who just happens to have the ability to use his legs to pick up yardage if the situation calls for it.

There’s a risk, of course, of overreacting to Griffin’s first game as a pro. But NFL debuts don’t get much better than what Griffin did in Week One.
here's to many more to come!! Congrats Robert!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to RG3 for being named NFC Offensive Player of the Week. How often does a rookie QB do that in his first game?

Congrats to RG3 and The Skins for winning when nobody expected them too. now,it's time to win sunday when we are expecting them too. have not won 2 away games on the road to open up a season since 1999.
hear what john madden said about rg3? "he's a tim tebow who can pass."

Congratulations to Robert from me as well. 100% deserved, keep your nose to the grindstone and your head away from the clouds. Remember, as fast as they build you up, they will tear you down. One day at a time, be just a bit better today than yesterday, and another bit more tomorrow than today. It takes hard work and dedication to be successful, and on top of that it takes passion for excellence to be great.

Here's to being great Robert. I am rooting for you. raised beer mug.jpg

In many ways, this game will be more important to the Skins and RGIII than last week was. Last week they had the element of surprise with the zone read stuff that no one had seen yet. The Rams now have the benefit of game film and can start formulating strategy and practice it in a way the Saints didn't have a chance to. If the Skins can come out and duplicate success, not necessarily the plays, against the Rams, then I think we will be on to something and have reason for hope and optimism.

I am not going to lie. I freaking cussed this dude out while watching the game. Called him probably ever bad name in the book. But this was in the privacy of my own home and I would never do that to their face or over the internet.
