If I was Grossman, I would be nervous. If Banks keeps putting the ball on the ground, he should be nervous too.
the Bernstine injury really sucks as i thought he was playing pretty good for a rookie and showing some promise . . . hopefully the surgery and rehab goes well and he is back on track and ready to go for next year!!

Got to hold a spot for the long snapper, every team just about does.i suspect sundberg plays with a broken arm so no need to worry about him going to IR. I can't see the skins resigning cooley or hightower anytime soon though.

They are nasty to confront but cowards at heart and will usually hide or play dead when challenged

What I meant was that if Sundberg can't play for any amount of games, if they don't IR him, then he would have to be inactive and they would have to sign another LS. That would necessitate releasing another player to keep Sundberg on the roster. I don't think they will do that. Right now he has a cast up to his shoulder, so that would have to change for him to play. My gut is that he will go to IR and someone else will be signed.

Shanahan did confirm that the Redskins will bring in another LS. They will be working out several tomorrow.

i know they have to put bernstine on IR no way he comes back from that injury anytime soon. i would not be shocked to see them cut another wr like briscoe.

Bernstein injury must have been real bad. Shanahan said everything was hurt in the knee, ACL, MCL, and PCL.

Well, for comparison, Adrian Petersen walked off the field after he was hit by DeJon Gomes last year and tore his ACL. Bernstine was put in a cast, immobilized and wheeled off on a stretcher.

Well, there isn't a need to cut Briscoe, Bernstine will be moved to IR and that will open an equivalent roster spot for a new safety (or CB) to be signed.

i like chris cooley, but why would they resign him, especially with these injuries? i wonder, did ethan albright retire? if not, maybe he could come back as long snapper this year.

    Albright retired, back issues.

Bernstine has been IR'd for the year and the Redskins have signed DB Jordan Pugh formerly of the Panthers.
