Garcon stated in post-game comments that he should be good to go next week. Excellent. Meanwhile, Shanahan said Bernstein's knee injury appears to be pretty serious.

Glad Garcon is okay That would be a huge loss. He and Griffin seem to be bonded.
Safety is going to be a problem all year, just has that feel.
Thank Jeebus Garcon will be healthy. HUGE blow to the offense to lose him going forward. With Garcon, Robinson and Griffin this team now has some speedy playmakers on offense for the first time since who knows when.
Tough break for Bernstine. Kid beat the odds by making the team and then something like that happens. Getting a little thin in the secondary.
Glad Garcon is fine, and feel bad for the kid Bernstine if he is lost for the year. If Mayweather is out 4 weeks instead of 2, that is a major problem. It seemed like the team had too many guys in the secondary in camp to at least have decent depth, but now there is no depth whatsoever. And it's only week #1.
what exactly happened to garcon? tv said hamstring and ankle, which was it?

All the reports I heard was that it was his foot. After the long TD, they thought it might have been broke. Just bruised.
It looks like Bernstine will be out for the season with an ACL in the knee and Sundberg has a cast up to his shoulder, likely out for awhile. It will be interesting to see if they IR him, awful hard to hold a roster spot for a longsnapper given how thin we are at safety now.
If I was Grossman, I would be nervous. If Banks keeps putting the ball on the ground, he should be nervous too.
