    well . . . 2 of those weeks are already accounted for, so does that mean he is day to day??

    Breese is gonna burn the secondary to the ground sunday regardless of who is back there.merriweather's time in dc has gotten off to a rough start,1st his DUI and now this.

    Yeah, I doubt this means much for Sunday. Reed Doughty isn't very good in pass defense, but neither is Meriweather. Tanard Jackson would have come in handy, but he prefers drugs to football.

    Gomes has been taking the reps at SS ahead of Doughty, which makes sense. He is younger and more athletic. Not sure it will make much of a difference, but it's the best move.

    Agreed . . . i am not a fan of having Doughty start, regardless of FS or SS . . . i think Gomez' speed will help more than Doughtys' experience . . .

    It (his speed advantage over Doughty) will help him when he is trying to catch NO WR's from behind during a long gainer.

    lol . . . maybe the LB's or Dlinemen will "kill the head" of Brees . . .

    Brees is such a good QB that he doesn't put himself in position for big hits. I can't remember the last time he got his clock cleaned. Great pocket awareness. If we sack him I doubt it will be a big time hit.
