I'm probably in the minority here, but I thought, and still do that Banks should be released. He will not contribute that much as a receiver, and A.Robinson can handle Kick-offs, with Moss handling punt returns. His spot on the roster needs to be filled with secondary help. Just my 2 cents!!

Slaton is a pretty good blocking back is'nt he? maybe that is why the skins are thinking about signing him as opposed to using his running skills.

Shanahan said Brandon Banks proved to him that he could play wide receiver, but that Banks “made the team as a playmaker.” Shanahan said, “we’ve got to find ways to get the ball in his hands.” He said that he can envision Banks lining up at tailback from time to time as well.

    Got this from the post.

I agree with you with. Banks had many touches and opportunities to put the ball in the endzone and didn't.
