if just to be here for a couple of years i would be ok . . . he is old, but still played at a high level last year and would be a good mentor for the younger players and is far better than anyone we have right now . . . for the right price and contract length i say yes . . .

It is not like they are going to give him the farm. I think he will be a better role model than Hall. Kinda like a Fletcher for the DBs. Plus he does not have a connection to anyone on the staff. That has to count for something.

Would love a 2-3 year signing for a modest contract. We cant afford a big deal and from the sounds of everything we have been in contact for almost 2 weeks so him coming to visit i am sure he knows all about our cap woes so there is definitely some interest.

He played at a high level last year and was cut because he did not want to take a pay cut not because his game went down.
