    Post Combine- 7 round mock

    http://www.dcprosportsreport.com/was...ound-mock.html

    2013 NFL Draft (projected)

    1st- (traded to St.Louis)

2nd- Phillip Thomas Fresno State FS- Eric Reid is the safety I love, but he projects high in the 2nd.

3rd- Darius Slay Mississippi State CB- Could be better pro than MSU first rounder Johnathan Banks.

4th- Tyrann Mathieu LSU CB- Could be nickel corner in opener and return all kicks.

5th- Shawn Williams Georgiia SS- Did you see him in the combine? 6'0" 220 with 4.4 speed!

5th- Terron Armstead Arkansas Pine Bluff OT- After the combine, I think he gets picked higher than 5th.

6th- Brad Wing LSU P- Not just a punter, this guy is a weapon and has chance to be best in the NFL.

7th- Zach Line SMU RB- Skins need speed back, but Darrel Young could be cap casualty.

As mentioned in the piece, the draft will be greatly influenced by free agency, mainly which of the 19 Redskins free agents are retained. Unless they acquire relief from the cap penalty, it may not be many.

We walk out of rounds 2 and 3 with secondary, i am happy. I think they will cover RT in free agency. I do not see the Redskins drafting a PUNTER. There are too many good punters that will not be drafted. Last time they tried that, Durant Brooks, didnt work out well.

I don't see Mathieu falling to the 4th round. I don't even see him falling to the third.

Wing is a game changer and if you can get someone that can impact every game in the 6th round you do it. Unfortunately, I don't think they will make the selection, nor do I believe he will be available at that stage of the draft.

No chance Armstread falls to the 5th round either, but as indicated in the piece, used Miller's mock to have a baseline availability of players. This mock is basing picks on who would be available based on that particular mock. Next mock I do will be based on what I think availability will be.

I ran another mock today, after the weekend's signings.
What do you guys think of this?
    Round Pick Selection Psn School
    2 51 Jonathan Cyprien SS Florida Int'l
3 85 Will Davis CB Utah State
    4 116 T.J. McDonald FS USC
5 147 David Quessenberry OC San Jose State
5 155 Oday Aboushi OT Virginia
6 181 Dallas Thomas OG Tennessee
7 212 Ace Sanders WRS South Carolina

I still like Josh Evans at FS, but I think T.J. is a better fit for our defense and, if he's available, I think we should jump on the pick.
