NFL to use replacement refs in Week 1

Bad news. And I agree with the Chicago Tribune. I think as bad as these replacements are, it is compromising the integrity of the NFL.

I keep picturing that terrible call in the Skins game where they downed the ball at the 4 yd line and said it was a touchback. One of the worst calls i have ever seen. And the bad part is that in any league including their own DII league the ball would be downed at the 4, so that made the call even worse.

This has definitely been one of the worst officiated preseasons i have ever seen so i do not think its going to get that much better. fingers crossed

THis is one of the biggest mistakes the league has ever made. Some of these refs are jokes. The game is too big for them. Coaches are going to have to burn challenges are blatantly obvious, blown calls and that is going to have a huge impact on the games. This is going to have long lasting repercussions for some teams I fear. Unless it hurts the Cowboys, then I could care less.

Huge mistake by the tight arsed owners to not give the refs what is fair.i would not be shocked if the players came out and made some sort of statement about re-negotiating or start it,asap!
