    Fedex Field

This has been bothering me for a while, but its about time for Dan to redo the field. At the end of the season it had to be one of(if not the ) worst field in all of football. It looked like dirt and they spray painted the dirt to look like grass.

I dont care what they get but the field needs to be in better condition. At this point i would even be fine with Turf at this point becaus that was a disgrace.

    Put turf down.

I think at this point, Snyder has gone cheap because he would ultimately like to move the Redskins back to the District. NFL is involved at this point, so he really has little choice.

It needs work but RG3 says of its condition "it's our home field advantage". I think the Skins thought they would have an advantage over Seattle since the Seahawks are used to turf . I definitely don't want artificial turf though. A recent study indicates there are more knee injuries and injuries in general on turf : http://www.foxnews.com/health/2012/0...rf-than-grass/
Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora has given the Redskins' rookie sensation a new title –- one typically reserved for knights.
"His name is Sir," said Umenyiora, who was born in London. "His name is Sir Robert Griffin. That is what I refer to him now.

i am a natural grass person myself . . . i know they heat the field so its not frozen . . . it wouldn't take that much to keep it up . . . with all the solar power they have there why not get some mobile grow lamps to help it out a bit . . . tis actually freezable as at Michigan Tech they do this already . . .

I have always been against turf in football, but that field was a disgrace at the end of the year. Literally the worst field in the league.

true . . . but Green Bays natural grass is in great shape right now and they are far colder than landover . . . its about starting with a good field and taking care of it, something obviously the ground crew neglected to do this last year for some reason . . . maybe the field gets used for too many non nfl events . . .
