Well, that's the best we could have hoped for in that situation. Redskins are on the ropes, but they have halftime to gather their wits. Seattle gets the ball first in the second half and they'll blow this thing wide open on that first drive unless the defense figures out how to respond to the Seattle play-action and read-option offense.

Skins are getting killed by an offense very similar to the one they run. The defense practices against this, but I guess seeing it done by Seattle has thrown them completely off.

Well, what are your thoughts at halftime?

Personally, I think the Skins are a in a lot of trouble. The defense seems completely befuddled and the pass rush that bothered Seattle in the first quarter is gone. The offense is going to have to score a couple more touchdowns, at least, I would think, just to keep the Skins in this game.

Haslett needs to make some adjustments for sure. Very concerned about RGIII...hate if you want but I'd almost be happier if Cousins got some time if Griffin keeps playing like he has since he tweaked his knee again.

If you missed any part of the game, I've got a complete and running account of it on our front page.

Not ready to give up on RG3 that quickly, but obviously the Skins should put in Cousins if Griffin's knee is preventing him from moving and throwing properly.

This. Seattle's offense is feeding off our offense's non-production since RGIII got hurt.

I think RG3s pick was because of his knee. He's obviously aggravated it, if only slightly. I think we'll be ok. Just gotta settle down and play our game.

I understand, and agree to a point, but I have a huge amount of faith in our in our back-up (don't know if I've ever felt that way before and I've been a fan since the mid-70s), and if Griffin has one flaw I've seen it's pushing an injury too far. His play the second quarter just wasn't good enough to play again next sunday.
