Thread: Andrews never cleared RGIII

Yeah, you can't be sure. The doc who did the surgery on his knee at Baylor said it was hell trying to slow him down to do a proper rehab. So that's going to be a concen now. And from what RG3 is posting on his Facebook page, I don't think he has learned from the experience. I agree the LCL was probably damaged in Baltimore, it's just so hard to tell with all the games that are being played with this thing. Even the diagnostic equipment plays tricks.

Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora has given the Redskins' rookie sensation a new title –- one typically reserved for knights.
"His name is Sir," said Umenyiora, who was born in London. "His name is Sir Robert Griffin. That is what I refer to him now.

What Andrews said the 2nd time looks to be correct from the way it played out during the game.
The first obvious thing we know. RG3 got hurt came to the sideline then went back in the next play.
2nd obvious thing we know is Dr Andrews did not look at his knee(there was no chance for him to in 30 secs).

Other than this most everything is just speculation.

I just hope he only comes back when 100%. I want him to rehab correctly and not rush it and be 100% when he officially plays in a game.

i agree with this as well . . . i hope RGIII doesn't feel too threatened by Cousins as he may try to rush coming back so Cousins doesn't get a chance to showcase his talent . . . hope not . . . AND, what if RGIII stats the year on the PUP and Cousins tears it up during that first 6 weeks and has ungodly numbers like 115 QB rating and a 5 - 1 TD to INT ratio, not saying it will happen, but what if??

If RGIII is not healthy. Why wouldnt you want Cousins to succeed?

if RGIII is not healthy you root for Cousins!! I am a Redskin fan first . . . all i as asking is what happens if Cousins plays and is just dominant, what do we do then with RGIII when he is healthy?? sit a dominating Cousins?? or keep RGIII on the bench?? . . . i realize this most likely will not be the case . . . just curious what if??

That would be a big question if it pans out that way. If Cousins does succeed it would be hard to argue that RG3 gets the job back automatically I think. I don't underestimate Cousins, I think he could be a good even great starter.
