    Jordan Black suspended 4 games

What is it about this team and PEDs? Is it the fact that maybe our players are below IQ levels. Are they not watching fellow teammates get suspended for this. That is three this season and five over the last two seasons.

Additionally, with Tyler Polumbus having a concussion and Black gone, the Redskins suddenly have a RT problem. Step up to he plate rookie Tom Compton.

Mandi Litchensteiger on Twitter insists that Jordan Black is innocent, is far from a doper, and that the NFL and the Redskins were aware of the meds he was taking and that they are prescribed meds.

What do you make of this?

Will Jordan appeal? Will we see him this next week while they sort it out?

Maybe I am wrong. Maybe my facts are wrong. However, I believe this was an ADHD/ADD drug that Black has been taking for a decade, under a written prescription from a physician. According top Litchensteiger's wife's twitter, the NFL and the Redskins were aware and knew that. It almost sounds as if, given that Black was not signed until late by the Redskins, that he was near filing retirement papers and done with football. Since that time, the NFL banned these substances, or became more strict on them. However, Black continued to take his prescription as written by his doctor.

One thing is clear. Listening to the story of Black and the defense of Black by his teammates, a defense that never came for someone like Cedric Griffin, something doesn't add up.

I thought the suspension came after a denial of his appeal?

At least three of his teammates have come to his defense on twitter saying he is not a doper. Black says it was a prescription medication for a diagnosis from NFL doctors.

    This is BS.

This may get interesting. If he has a medical diagnosis, such as ADHD or ADD, and requires prescription medication, then by disallowing him to play because of a mental condition that is controlled medically, would seem to be possible violation of the ADA?

could get interesting . . . according to him the NFL knew exactly what drugs he has been taking all along . . . see this (PFT):

“It is a prescription,” Black said. “I gave the NFL the prescriptions that I received for it. They’ve known about the diagnosis. They’ve had their own doctors confirm the diagnosis, multiple times. I’ve seen more doctors than you can even imagine about this very case that we are talking about, but in the appeals process, it just doesn’t matter. It is a system that, instead of having someone that can take a look at all the information and make a logical decision based on the information that’s there, they instead have a attack-dog attorney who tries to paint some — mischaracterize a person and put labels on them like a doper or, you know, whatever in order to find the player guilty. I mean, it was clearly — I had no chance from the beginning.”

    hmmmm

This sounds like he has taken care of this before he signed with the Redskins but are just now hitting him with a suspension. Seems rather convenient time when he was likely going to start but instead suspended. I mean come on, there was no better time for that. lol
