I like it. I happen to love Tom Coughlin and Eli seems like a total class act to me. Ditto for Justin Tuck. I'd be proud to have those guys wearing our jerseys. But John Mara's self-dealing in the $36 million cap penalty was scandalous and his lame attempt to justify it only made it more irritating.
I don't hate any of the Giants players and I actually quite like and admire some of them. But I love the bad feeling. I want games to be played cleanly and honorably, but a nice dose of hatred in the division is not a bad thing. We saw an old school 1980s style NFC East Skins-Giants battle last night. Looking forward to more of those and the intense feeling of rivalry that comes with it.
