I had Barnes making the team. Does this mean Thompson is in? I as not that impressed with C Griffin.
Conditional 7th round pick if he makes the Detroit roster, might be 6th rounder if he plays a certain percentage of snaps. Crawford had passed Thompson on the depth chart, so he was a virtual lock to make the team before this move. This trade is good news for Thompson more than anyone.

Travon Bellmay and David Jones are the other two CBs. I assume they go with 5. If they go six, then Jones could be the winner. I think this staff likes Thompson. He kept being resigned last year several times and is still here.
Griffin has not impressed me this preseason at CB. If they go 9 DB's and only 4 CB's, I would keep Hall, Wilson, Crawford and Thompson. I would keep Jones over Griffin. Can't see 6 CB's as I especially think they will keep 5 safeties.
