Redskins sign Keiland Williams, release Grant

Welcome back Keiland Williams. Williams was recently released by Detroit. He is a former Redskins, having played here in 2010. To make room, Redskins released veteran RB Ryan Grant.

Redskins also signed CB DJ JOhnson

not sure i understand why here . . . Grant, IMO, is a much better blocking back than Williams . . . The Skins must have seen something in Grant that they didn't like . . . but what does Williams bring??

Might be a special teams move. KW reportedly excelled at ST's in Detroit.

didn't Detroit set a record for most weeks in a row with a return TD against them this year??? and also multiple weeks in a row with both a punt return TD and kick return TD against them this year?? standing out in that group is like a piece of corn standing out in . . . well you get the point . . . Detroit has the worse special teams in football this year coverage wise . . .
