Redskins running back Alfred Morris has been nominated for Pepsi Max NFL rookie of the week following another strong performance on Sunday.

Morris recorded his third 100-yard game, rushing for a career-high 120 yards on 22 carries in a 27-24 loss to the New York Giants. Morris now has 658 rushing yards through seven games, and ranks one yard shy of Houston’s Arian Foster for the league lead. Morris also has five rushing touchdowns.
Morris is on pace to rush for 1,504 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Congrats to Alfred Morris for being nominated for the rookie of the week . . . hope you get it!! YOU DESERVE IT!!

i guess if the o-line keeps run blocking the way they have and stay at least adequate in pass blocking AND don't get injured it would be nice to never see those guys . . . i just hope they were worthy of the selection and can provide solid depth in the future . . .
