Thread: Redskins injury updates here!

With the signing of Ryan Grant, I assume that either Royster or Helu may be a no go for Sunday.

Trent Williams is not only an average LT, but an injury prone tackle. Has been since he was drafted.

Don't agree with this at all. Williams is a very, very good left tackle and getting better all the time. I don't know about injury-prone. He was healthy last year. Can't count a positive drug test as an injury. The offensive line without Williams is a shambles. I like him and the Redskins need him badly.

I believe he missed two games prior to the suspension. He has missed games due to injury in both of his years in the league and it looks like it will soon be each of 3 years.

Helu Jr. to the IR, done for the year.

Updated injuries. Trent Williams did not practice (knee) nor did Cedric Griffin (hamstring). Pierre Garcon, Brandon Merriweather, and Evan Royster were limited.

DEPTH, Ashburn, it's all about DEPTH.

Man, Pierre Garcon needs to invest in a hyperbaric chamber so he can heal faster. When i saw the play where he got injuried never in a million years would have said he would have missed 2 games much less 3.

As far as Trent williams is concerned, without him we are doomed. He is well above average for a LT and there is a significant dropoff when he is not in there. I think he has definitely had injury concerns through his short career so i hope this is not significant. Otherwise we have no chance.

He missed two games to injury his rookie year and two games to injury his sophomore season. He might miss a game on Sunday, but we don't know it yet. I don't see that as injury-prone. Jammal Brown -- that's injury-prone. Also, Trent is generally fantastic when he's in there. I thought he was pretty good, but inconsistent until about October of last year, when he really started kicking ass. He was great in training camp and I think he's been good so far. Anyone who doesn't like the Redskins offensive line now should get a look at what it'll be like without Williams. Ugh.

Agree 100% with this . . . TW is by far the Skins best o-lineman and missing a game or two per year does not constitute injury prone IMO . . .
