Ok, we need to come up with a definition or standard for injury prone because missing two games every year of your career seems like a good one for injury prone. Generally when you can't avoid the injury bug on a year to year basis you are considered injury prone.

I think we can take the lead from "accident-prone", which is the propensity to have more than the mean number of accidents. So substituting the word injury for accident, we get "Propensity to have more than the average number of injuries".

Now, if we can get some measures of central tendency from the NFL to describe the mean, median and mode we can accurately classify TW as being injury prone.

Accident prone can also be defined as "inclined to", such as having a preference, disposition, or tendency; "wasn't inclined to believe the excuse"; "inclined to be moody".

Will Montgomery, is not injury prone, by his games played, games started streak with Washington.

by that definition, than he is average . . . there are not many players that play 16 games every year, very few actually . . . that's why Farve's career was SO AMAZING as its unheard of to go that many games without injury, even at a position that is the most protected in the game . . .

Kevin Kolb, is he injury prone? Mike Vick? Matt Stafford? The key question what is the average number of games missed due to injury in the NFL.

having a hard time finding that info for o-lineman . . . here is the info for other offensive players . . . Source (RotoWorld):

    Final Baselines

    Quarterback: 15 games played
    Running Back: 14 games played
    Wide Receiver: 15 games played
    Tight End: 15 games played
and i would think o-lineman, with how much they weigh (weight places a lot of stress on the legs, knees especially) would be higher than the skill position players listed above . . .

Cedric Griffin and Trent Williams did not practice today. Looks like Jordan Black is a go for Sunday. Poor Robert.

Garcon, Merriweather, Royster, and Banks were all limited.

they got to give black some help or rg3 will not make it through the 1st series. how could shanny and sr be so stupid to not address the obviousl holes in the oline in the offseason? and on top of that,we signed a WR that has played 1 quarter in 3 games!
only team in the league this would happen to time and time again is the redskins!

My bet is part of the problem in boasting depth was the $18 million cap penalty. Little funds to spread around and receiver was the main position lined up for significant upgrade.

Josh Morgan was not necessary, money should have been spent elsewhere as we said at the time. If Crawford is the third corner for a long period of time and Black at left tackle it will be a long season.

Agreed. They were high on Hankerson all along. So adding Garcon with Moss should have been enough. Wonder how many front offices it will take in Washington to learn that offensive lines can make mediocre teams good.
