not too worried about signing the draft picks this year . . . should be quick and simple and most won't even cost against the cap . . .
First off, welcome to DCPSR!!! Hope to see you around a lot and to have some great conversations with you about our beloved Redskins!! . . . That being said, the surgery in January was to repair a...
not likely to make the team, but competition sure don't hurt . . .
Agreed!! . . . I know they were lower round draft picks, but i am really excited to see what they bring as they seem to be big upgrades over what we have been playing with . . .
I can see them lining him up at WR, and some trick plays . . . love his versatility . . .
true . . . but that is what we heard when Davis was drafted as Cooley was the man . . . i like the idea, but won't hold my breath on ShannyCo doing it . . . when have you seen ShannyCo offenses...
not sure i like this pick, but is possibly good insurance and leverage against fred . . .
he still had 5 picks, so he is definitely a ball hawk . . . but he got burned a lot last year . . . hopefully they will get him to be more consistent and to gamble a little less . . . he also has...
i think Antoine Winfield told them he is going elsewhere . . . and since it is a one year deal i am ok with it . . . hopefully the secondary players we draft can play well fast and be ready for...
if just to be here for a couple of years i would be ok . . . he is old, but still played at a high level last year and would be a good mentor for the younger players and is far better than anyone we...
have not heard a thing regarding Minnifield . . . IMO, he is just an extra . . . if he is healthy and can play, great, but i am not expecting anything from him . . .
i'm not sure . . . if so, IMO it would have to be very cost effective, so Hall will probably be elsewhere . . . maybe Griffin if he is willing to play for the league minimum or slightly above . . . i...
i wouldn't mind any of the above suggestions, especially with the market prices dropping . . . CW would be great for a year or two, but still wants starting CB money as last i heard he was looking...
i am ok with this . . . he was in PFF's top 20 for cover corners in 2012, and we needed that . . . is he a stud, NO . . . but he can be ok, has decent size and good speed . . . he will start for us...
profootballfocus.com had him rated as a top 20 cover corner last year, so that means a lot, especially as the lone bright spot in the Tampa secondary . . . good signing . . .
i'd be all for this . . . that would definitely inject a little youth and hopefully talent into a secondary deprived of it . . .
hmmm . . . expected Grossman back for another year with RGIII coming back from injury . . . hopefully Davis is seeing what the market holds and the Skins can get him for a reasonable price . . .
...
i read that yesterday and though . . . what a jackass!! . . . he obviously has an agenda against the Skins as he writings are very anti Redskin . . . oh well, i guess
i think we need to go CB/FS in the 2nd round and as for RT, hopefully Compton is ready . . . or Pashos/Trueblood is healthy enough . . . both are upgrades to polumbus when healthy (IMO)
Source (PFT):
well . . . while not a game changer by no means, when healthy he is a better RT than Polumbus . . . hopefully this will mean an open competion between Crompton, Pashos and...
i am a big lorenzo fan, but the skins couldn't afford the contract that he signed and he will get a chance to start in AZ . . . good luck!!
and he was due a 3 million dollar bonus tomorrow, so that would have been added to his cap number this year too . . .
unless they designated that a post june 1st cut . . . then 7 million of the 10 would go against next years cap . . .
hope to have fred davis back, but wouldn't mind dustin keller or meyers from oakland either . . .
This i would LOVE to see!!
