Breese is gonna burn the secondary to the ground sunday regardless of who is back there.merriweather's time in dc has gotten off to a rough start,1st his DUI and now this.
Yeah, I doubt this means much for Sunday. Reed Doughty isn't very good in pass defense, but neither is Meriweather. Tanard Jackson would have come in handy, but he prefers drugs to football.
Gomes has been taking the reps at SS ahead of Doughty, which makes sense. He is younger and more athletic. Not sure it will make much of a difference, but it's the best move.
Agreed . . . i am not a fan of having Doughty start, regardless of FS or SS . . . i think Gomez' speed will help more than Doughtys' experience . . .Quote:
