I am not opposed to signing Cundiff, but why release Gano. Why not allow them to compete for the next two weeks? Only thing I can think of here is that they really did not want Gano and have seen enough over three years.

I can only think they did not like his attitude but I have never heard anyone report it.
Otherwise why cut him, he is about to finally hit his stride and either be a good kicker or decline.
With his strong leg I think he is going to be a good kicker.

i think rackers is a better kicker,i think cundiff got cut for missing the chip shot last year in new england.he'll never live that down to ravens fans,and rightly so!
