I 100% agree with the game balls....LOVE seeing Zo get some time on defense and dominate.
Hope to see more from Zo stepping up.
No problem with the grades. I though Perry Riley was much more active this week than prior weeks. Maybe he is starting to wake up a bit.
Is anyone ready to call the Rams back and offer more than we gave up for RGIII?
The only grade i don't like is the special teams grade . . . punt coverage was good . . . kickoff coverage was terrible . . . punt returns were terrible . . . kickoff returns don't count as we didn't get any . . . kickoffs were short, but high and against teams with a lesser returner might be a good thing . . . and the long field goal attempt was good . . . i say a C- or a D+ if you average all those out . . .
I would give special teams this season a c. i'm wondering why we don't look around and offer some teams brandon banks or evan royster? if garcon is gonna be watching every week, why not give somebody like buress a chance to see what he can do? i think having him on 4th down and short and 4th and goal plays would be an instant first down/td. i think the best we can do on D all season is patch it up,and hope we can get some decent dbs in the draft or free agency.
was watching NFL Total Access last night and saw that Kurt Warner, who picks his top 5 QB's for the week each week had RGIII at #3 . . . AND, more interestingly Ladanian Tomlinson, who picks his top 5 RB's for the week each week also had RGIII in his top 5 at RB . . . two players in one!!
This week is going to be a huge test for our OL and QB. If our OL has breakdowns this could turn ugly for us. But if our OL gives RG3 a decent amount of time i think we can take this game.
