Blame it on carlos rogers.never really happened to he started doing it during his tenure here.maybe they should practice tip drills more.not taking up for orakpo's drops,but he has'nt played in a month either.

Well, if they could catch they'd be TE's or WR's I guess. Orakpo's looked like he decided to swat it down rather than trying to catch it, like maybe he thought it was 4th down? It was pretty ugly. How about Doughty with the hands at the end of the game. I wonder if he had flashbacks to the Texans game two years ago?

This drives me crazy. I don't buy the explanation that defensive guys shouldn't be expected to catch the ball. When it is thrown in your hands [as it was to Orakpo on Sunday], you should catch the ball. Ed Reed doesn't seem to have a problem catching the ball. Ditto for Darren Woodson and Rod Woodson and lots of other players. Carlos Rogers suddenly discovered how to catch the ball last year. [Apparently, the Niners got him glasses -- something the Skins never bothered to check out.] Dropping an easy interception is a huge mistake. Drew Brees threw a TD pass the very next play after Orakpo's drop. We'd be feeling a lot different right now if the Saints had won that game.
