Danny Smith to interview with Pittsburgh

Redskins have granted permission for Danny Smith to interview for the same position, special teams coach, with the Steelers. The fact they granted permission tells me that Shanny is OK with losing Smith.

interesting . . . i have called for his head a number of times . . . the coverage units have been pretty good . . . and it looks like forbath fixed the FG kicking game . . . the return units could be better, but it really comes down to the returner . . . i think Shanny holds Smith accountable for his love of Banks and that maybe where this is coming from . . .

i guess i'd be ok either keeping him or watching him walk . . .

A day after receiving permission to interview Washington Redskins special teams coach Danny Smith, it appears the Steelers have found their man. According to Dan Hellie of NBC4 in Washington D.C., Smith will leave the Redskins to return home to Pittsburgh.

so who would you guys like to see take Smith's job??
