Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan suggested Monday that the team isn't done contesting the $36 million in salary cap reductions over two years that it was given in March by the NFL.

“I can’t answer that at this time,” Shanahan said. “So that means we’re still involved in it. Yes, we’re still involved in it. When I can speak about that, I will speak. But at this time, I can’t. I think that answers your question.”

i thought the ruling last week brought an end to this . . . just though it was interesting that the are still fighting it somehow . . . doubt very much we get anything back, but it sure would be nice . . .

Thoughts??

Even if we got back half of our "uncapped non collusion" spending I be happy. I think an $18 million penalty was big enough.

yeah . . . probably won't see anything . . . what would happen if somehow this went to court and the courts decided with the Skins?? would we get a 18 million dollar cap bonus for next year since we already were shorted last year??
