Anyone else thinks its weird that we have our TE as a KR? I know he was a WR a couple of years ago, but wouldnt it be more ideal to put a faster player? Or a more shiftier player back there?
Aldrick Robinson would be my pick back there or even Crawford, just weird to me that we have our TE back there.

i do believe Paul was a kick returner in college, and while he is not quite as fast as Crawford or Robinson i think he ran a 4.6 and with his extra added size is harder to take down . . . that being said i would prefer the speed and quickness of Robinson . . . or Crawford, but Crawford didn't look all that fast last night, i thought that would have been a sure TD, but he slowed for the punter instead of just blowing past him i guess . . .

After the fumble I would say yes to any of them. Niles has also been dropping too many passes lately.

Agreed. I wrote that in Thumbs Up Thumbs down. Robinson has blazing speed. Wonder what the issue is letting him return kicks?

Maybe if Shanny's Banks crush is over he will experiment with guys to get the best and save a roster spot.

i'd cut his ass right now and either add some help in the secondary or add a kick off specialist!!

Crawford was quoted as saying that he literally ran out of gas. he says that it was really strange because he had never ran out of gas before and in practice they call him the energizer bunny because he never gets tired.

I'd like to see Robinson return kicks. If he can do it, let him do it and you don't need Banks anymore. Give Banks' offensive duties, limited as they are, to Robinson and leave it at that.

agreed . . . say buh bye to Banks already!! he is wasting a roster spot that could be given to someone that might be able to help . . . still don't understand why they didn't Stanford Routt a shot as he looked pretty good for the Texans last night in limited snaps . . . and he was signed by them earlier in the week . . . as good as hall/wilson anyway

Yea i watched the game and saw him and wish we would have brought him in. We need all the help we can get as far as DBs are concerned.
I think a Free safety who can cover over the top is more important at this point. Williams has been burned repeatedly this year, over and over.

Bryd . . . can cover and is a ball hawk!! . . . he is a FA, as long as he doesn't sign and extension with the Bills first . . .

Byrd is the guy I want in FA. That would be my first call if I was the Skins. I would like Merriweather brought back as well. The limited time he played he looked lime the best player out there.

i'm right here with you!! Bryd would help the secondary a ton at FS and a healthy Merriweather at SS would solidify that spot as well . . . that would be the best pair of safeties we've had since landry and taylor played together . . .
Probably not going to get one in the 2nd round, but in the 3-4 you need an OLB that can consistently put pressure on the QB play after play and demand double teams. The Redskins do not have that. Orakpo, Kerrigan and Jackson are nice players, but right now I would try to offer up Orakpo as trade bait to a team that runs the 4-3 and see if they can't get something for him before he goes FA.

i've been thinking about this too . . . our of orakpo and kerrigan, orakpo is the better pass rusher, but kerrigan does everything else better . . . see what you can get for orakpo and make that deal if its decent . . . just my opinion . . .
I'll say this too, I think Jackson is developing into a better OLB than Orakpo, especially in coverage and as he gets more reps I think his pass rush game is improving too. I think Orakpo is better suited to have his hand in the dirt and that's why I say all teams that run a 4-3.
