Seahawks hold the 6th spot and the Bucs and Vikings are 1 game of ahead of the Skins. Right now we still need a lot of help. Should any of those 3 teams win out, we will not make the playoffs no matter what.

Good news is that the Seahawks play the Bears this week and the Vikings play the Packers who are both in a tight race with each other for the central lead, so both of those teams will be highly motivated. Bucs are the bigger issue as their offense is humming right now.

Redskins cannot afford to stumble on Monday night.

I have written a comprehensive, exhaustive, exhausting and mind-numbingly acute look at the playoff situation for the Redskins in the NFC. I'll update it every week and maybe more often than that, depending on the results of Thursday night games. Read it only if you really want to know what you're talking about and you're not afraid of your eyes melting from information overload. Seriously, I've got a big table and everything in this monster.

Great write up . . . and while there is a small chance a 4 - 1 finish gets them in, i want to see them continue to improve each game and if they do they can win out . .. that's what i want to see!!
