I agree Larry. I actually think receiver is a strong point for this team for the first time in years

Redskins most productive offensive player last year cut by another team. Sad state of affairs last year.

I think we are going to have some cuts at WR that make other teams this year.

A sign our our increased depth, in Shanny's first year, the #2 and #3 WR's were Joey Galloway and Roydell Williams. This year we are going to cut players that will be on other teams.

I actually liked Gaffney. I am sure someone will pick him up. Surprised Stallworth is still around.

some of them will end up in miami cause they don't have any veteran wrs.i actually liked gaffney too,but i like the younger guys as opposed to the older ones. i'm still wondering how galloway and stallworth ever made it on the team in the 1st place!

It is reported that the Eagles were also waiting to see if we released draft choice Jordan Bernstine, they have someone on their staff that is familiar with him and were going to pluck him off of waivers if we released him.

Why shanny lets a decent olinemen go,especially one with experience is puzzling to me when you look at our depth there. i would have kept smith over robinson.

Don't know if anyone saw this. Sean Locklear is starting LT for NYG against Dallas. Wow.

Well, looks like DeMarcus Ware will be leading the league in sacks after week 1.

On a related note, did you see that the Arizona Cardinals two best options at LT are now Jeremy Bridges (who is now out for the season I think) and D'Anthony Batiste? Two more former Redskins? Skelton should keep his head on a swivel.

i think jason pierre paul has a better chance to get more sacks in week 1 than ware does.

yeah . . . if you think our o-line issues are bad, just look at the cards . . . man they look to be in HUGE trouble this year . . . no o-line and no QB makes a team pretty bad . . . i think he cards just may be the #1 pick next year . . .

Whisenhunt may have made Skelton the starter just because physically he can stand up better behind that O line. Kolb is a little on the frail side.

I keep Smith on my 53. I guess they thought he was not ready to go. With the T position such a mess why let someone go with a year of experience in your system?

He must have regressed or had zero improvement from the previous season would be my guess.

Not only is Markus WHite on the TB practice squad, he is the highest paid PS in the league at over $17,000 a week!!!!! The league minimum is $5700 a week for PS and the salary is entirely negotiable by the player. WOW! Way to go Markus.

no kidding!! . . . no bad for a player that is not being expected to produce and will be less likely to get a major injury . . .

Word. Goes to show how important the Pre season is for some players, Markus balled out against the Bucs in that last game, they must have liked what they saw.

Did anyone see Vinny Cerrato pick Justin Tryon wearing #30 for the Giants on Wednesday? He was the going chasing Kevin Ogletree and Miles Austin last night on their TD's? Giants have two former Skins in Tryon and Locklear.

sure did . . . lol . . . he looked just as bad there as he did here . . . the Giants are in trouble if they don't get their secondary healthy . . . Coe got hurt too and Webster looked BAD!! YEY!!
