Caps win 4th in a row

The Washington Capitals keep chugging along without Great 8, Alexander Ovechkin, and prove they are way more than a one man show.  Tonight, the casualty was the Minnesota Wild.  The Caps defeated the Wild in their only show down this season, 3-1 at the Verizon Center.

Washington Capitals nation was alarmed to the max on Sunday when word came out of a Yahoo Sports interview with Alexander Ovechkin in which Ovechkin said he would likely miss 4 to 5 weeks.  The Washington Capitals organization quickly disputed the report.
