No one has been harsher, more critical, and down right degrading of Malcolm Kelly, Devin Thomas, and Fred Davis than we here at DC Pro Sports Report. In reality, we have been absolutely brutal. And, rightfully so, they have deserved it.
However, we will also give credit when it is due, and show a little hope [...]

Redskins Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down
November 8th, 2009 · 1 Comment · DeAngelo Hall, Devin Thomas, Ladell Betts, Laron Landry, Malcolm Kelly, Marko Mitchell, Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down, Washington Redskins, Wide Receiver
THUMBS UP:
Ladell Betts: Why? Betts proved what many of us Redskins fan have figured out — Clinton Portis is no longer a factor on this team, just a waste of money and roster space. It seems like when Portis got hurt, the Redskins offense seemingly moved the ball. Betts had a very nice 4.7 yards [...]

Marko Mitchell finally free?
November 8th, 2009 · 1 Comment · Devin Thomas, Malcolm Kelly, Santana Moss, Washington Redskins, Wide Receiver
We say that with a question mark. Why? Indeed, 7th round draft pick Marko Mitchell is listed as active and appears to be ready to make his NFL debut today against Atlanta. The question that comes to mind is — will the Redskins simply have Mitchell active or will they actually throw to Mitchell?

Campbell likes the road better, Campbell is a bit ignorant as well
November 4th, 2009 · 2 Comments · Devin Thomas, Jason Campbell, Malcolm Kelly, Quarterback, Washington Redskins
QB Jason Campbell thinks it is a good time to have a road game, it is easier.
DUH!
“The reason you say that is because if there’s a bad play or there’s a throw-away or something, we know why we had to do it,” Campbell said. “But from fans’ standpoint, they don’t understand. They think that everything’s [...]

Last night was the first night of brand spanking new play calling. Fresh from retirement, Sherman Lewis ‘ play calling promise to invade FEDEX Field much like General Sherman did in Savannah, right?
Made a helluva difference eh?

Devin Thomas to remain starter
October 22nd, 2009 · 1 Comment · Devin Thomas, Malcolm Kelly, Washington Redskins, Wide Receiver
Rick Maese reports on his Twitter that Jim Zorn has apparently said that WR Devin Thomas will remain starter opposite WR Santana Moss.
Oh really? I didn’t know we actually had a starter besides Moss. Thomas apparently started over Malcolm Kelly last week against Kansas City.
Could you tell?
To be truthful, I didn’t even know either were [...]

Skins beat reporter John Keim sums up this week aptly in the opening to a story last night:
This was a bizarre week, even for a team that once nearly hired Pepper Rodgers as an interim coach and one that used to hold press conferences to say they were misquoted in their own releases.
TB Clinton Portis [...]
