The Washington Capitals got a huge win last night over the St. Louis Blues, a win that gave them sole possession of first place in the Metro Division.   The Caps have won 3 consecutive games and are putting together a nice November, with a 7-2 record for the month.   Next they play division rival Pittsburgh, which they lead in the Metro Division by one standing point.

Points:  Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom, tied for 4th in the league with 24 points

Defenseman Points:  Mike Green is 18th in the league with 11 points
