    DCPRO UPDATE:

Results from an MRI reveal a stress fracture in Bradley Beal’s right leg and the starting shooting guard will be sidelined at least two weeks, at which time he will be re-evaluated. Beal is having problems with his lower right leg, the same one that ended his rookie season prematurely. Beal has been playing heavy minutes, averaging more than 40 per contest. The 20 year old is averaging 20.8 points per game, 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists. Beal was noticeably absent (not in uniform) at this morning’s shoot around as the Wizards prepare for tonight’s game with the Los Angeles Lakers. Rookie Otto Porter, Trevor Ariza and Chris Singleton were all present at practice today as each returns from injury. Porter had been out since mid-September with a hip injury, Ariza had been sitting for two weeks due to hamstring concerns and Singleton nursing foot issues since September. The three players are in different stages of recovery, with only Ariza expected to play tonight.
