The Washington Nationals started with Matt Capps last night. Today it is Christian Guzman.
The Nationals have traded veteran IF Christian Guzman to the Texas Rangers for prospects. The Nats were though to have wanted to deal wither Guzman or Adam Kennedy.
UPDATE: Adam Dunn is currently in the lineup. No movement on Dunn yet. NY Yankees are reportedly out of the running.
UPDATE: Nats recall reliever Atahaulpa Severino to replace Matt Capps on the Nats roster. Severino appeared in 40 games at Syracuse and was 4-2 with 1 save and an ERA of 3.55. He has recorded 35 strike outs in 50.2 innings.
