…for the Denver Broncos. Speaking to Dan Hellie of WRC-4, a Washington, D.C. station owned by NBC, Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, son of head coach Mike Shanahan, says his father has guaranteed the Denver Broncos would break the 13-year AFC losing streak in the Super Bowl and bring the Vince Lombardi trophy to Denver. Per Redskinsblog:
“I remember my dad basically guaranteeing victory to my friend and I the morning of,” Kyle Shanahan tells Hellie. “We were sitting in his hotel room — we were actually watching White Man Can’t Jump — just laughing, and he was as calm as can be hanging out with us. And my friend and I thought it was weird that he wasn’t doing other stuff, and he goes, ‘No, we’re gonna win today, there’s no doubt.’ And then to actually see it happen, to see the way they did it, it was special.”

Might be bigger news if he guaranteed that for his Redskins.
