The NBA Mock Draft Database continues to grow as the NBA Draft nears (kind of). So here you go, Go Mock Yourself!
Vote in our Official NBA Mock poll!
We have updated the NBA Mock Database Top 7 leaders. The Top 7 leaders are based on munching all mock drafts updated in the month of April, which is a total of 17 mocks. It is our biggest Mock Munch to date for the NBA Database.
We know the Mocks, at least 94% of them, project Kentucky freshman John Wall to go first. But, is there debate over who is the best player in the Draft? IN fact, my partner, our Wizards coverage guy, Spence, does not think Wall is the best in this draft. He has written that. Soooo, time to vote in the Official NBA Mock Database Poll. Cast your vote!
On to the Mock Munch. Here are the Database Stats . . .
| Total Mocks Listed | 75 |
| Total Updated in April | 17 |
| Total Updated Today | 11 |
Commentary: One of the things we have noticed over the last month is the bouncing back and forth between the 3rd, 4th, and 5th spots between Derrick Favors, Wesley Johnson,a nd DeMarcus Cousins. Mocks are uncertain at this point which one of these guys will go after John Wall and Evan Turner go 1 and 2. No doubt the actual Lottery placement will help stabilize these upper picks. Another question is, how many Kentucky Wildcats will go in the Top 10? Wesley Johnson seems to be solidfying between 3rd and 5th, with 13 of the 17 mocks placing him somewhere within these three picks. In addition, Greg Monroe is rising in the most updatd mock drafts. He once fell compeltely out of the Top 7, but of the 6 mocks updated over the past 2 days, Greg Monroe is listed in all of those at either #6 or #7.
Here are your Top 7 leaders. We may expand the Database over the next two weeks to the Top 10 picks.
| 1. | John Wall | 94% (16 Mocks) |
| 2. | Evan Turner | 94% (16 Mocks) |
| 3. | DeMarcus Cousins | 59% (10 Mocks) |
| 4. | Derrick Favors | 53% (9 Mocks) |
| 5. | Wesley Johnson | 35% (6 Mocks) |
| 6. | Al-Farouq Aminu | 24% (4 mcoks) |
| 7. | Greg Monroe | 35% (6 Mocks) |
There you have it. Don’t forget to VOTE for who is the best player in this Draft.
