Jaguars won’t take Dez Bryant in 1st round

AUTHOR: Spence | IN: NFL Draft | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Florida Times-Union reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars, owners of the 10th pick in the NFL Draft, will not select Dez Bryant in the first round.

According to multiple NFL sources, the Jaguars eliminated Oklahoma State’s Dez Bryant – widely regarded as the top receiver prospect in this year’s draft class -from their draft board because of concerns about his character (Bryant missed 2009 because of an NCAA suspension for violating NCAA rules).

So if you’re updating your NFL mock draft, keep that in mind. Expect the Jags to address the WR position in later rounds, perhaps more than once.

While we’re at it, check out the NFL Mock Draft Database, the biggest and best of its kind in the world. No database is updated as often as this one [a new update coming today!].
