Has Jason Campbell been traded?

AUTHOR: | IN: Washington Redskins | COMMENTS: 5 Comments |

It’s being “reported” on ESPN 980 AM radio here in D.C. that Redskins QB Jason Campbell has been traded. No solid information yet and this could very well turn out to be false. Right now, it’s little more than a rumor of a rumor. Keep that in mind. We’ll post more when we know more.

Meanwhile, Fox’s Jay Glazer is reporting that Campbell will sign his 1-year $3.14 million tender offer today. That could be a precursor to a trade. We’ll see.

Stay tuned…

UPDATE: Rich Campbell reports that no Campbell trade is imminent, though the search for a trading partner continues.

do you see what crack does to people jason could not even play in the arena league...he stunk in collage....see ya jason finaly a good move for the redskins

Are you nutts? Jason went undefeated his senor year. His stats were better across the board than McNabbs last year, except for TD’s. Jason’s stats have improved every year he has been in the league. The Redskins O line has ruined a couple QB’s in the last 10 years. Patrick Ramsey could have been an awesome NFL QB, but he got shell shocked along the way. Jason is not shell shocked and he will be a pro bowl QB in the coming years.

Jason Campbell will be a Pro Bowl QB in the future why this rush to trade him is beyond me.Let Mcnabb and him battle for the starting job and then you have a experinced back up in case of injury.

Jason will excell on any team that will provide him a marginal offensive line. He never had one with the Redskins. Watch him do well with taht type of team.
