Michael Lee of The Washington Post is reporting that injured All Star forward and team captain Antawn Jamison lit his teammates up after tonight’s hideous loss to the previously-woeful Pacers:

Wizards lose 102-86 in Indiana. After the game, Antawn Jamison cursed out his teammates for their performances. It was loud and ugly.

As I wrote in my game review earlier this evening:

The Wizards badly need Antawn Jamison back. It’s not just his points and rebounds they miss [though they do miss both of those things], it is also his professionalism. Jamison is the adult. He’s the leader. He doesn’t have to imitate an adult, as Gilbert does, Jamison IS an adult. If find it hard to believe Jamison would have allowed the team to sleepwalk through three straight games.

Get back, Antawn. This team needs your professionalism even more than it needs your scoring and rebounding. [It needs those things, too.]
