Washington Redskins released LB Darrell Young from the practice squad. To replace Young, the Redskins signed LB Alvin Bowen.
As for the Washington Capitals, the roster reductions continues as the Capitals continue to skate closer and closer to October 1, the start of the regular season. The Caps cut the roster by 3 more skaters today. They are:
F Kyle Wilson
F Oscar Osala
F Andrew Gordon
Up Interstate 83 they go to the Hershey Bears.
