NBA Draft: Where you going Hasheem?

The NBA Mock Draft Database exploded today with 12 NEW mock drafts and crossing the 100 mark.  The Database now listed a total of 107 mock drafts for the 2009 NBA Draft.  Here are the current stats of the Database.

Since we had so many new Mocks and updated mocks, we went ahead and update our Consensus Top 6 picks.  The Consensus Top 6 is base don munching a number of mocks.  Today we decided to munch mocks updated from May 28th through today, June 5th.  That way, the munched mocks are giving us the latest projections.  Total munched — 50 mocks. 

As you see, the biggest question right now is, where is Hasheem Thabeet going to go.  Will he go 2nd overall, 3rd overall, or will he fall to 5th to the Bullets?  Thabeet is everywhere with mock drafts.  Here is where the Consensus Top 6 are right now, according to these 50 munched mock drafts (to earn Consensus status, a slot must hit 60% of mock projections.) 

1st Overall Pick: 
BLAKE GRIFFIN
Consensus:  YES
Percentage of Mocks:  100%
DC Pro Sports Report Pick:  Blake Griffin

These is no question here.  The LA Clippers are going to take Blake Griffin number one overall and all the mocks believe that as well.  Good for Clippers?  We’ll see.  Good for Griffin?  No.  Come on, Clips have had Lottery picks in 12 of the last 13 years and they are still in the Lottery?  Griffin is the unanimor choice at 1st overall.

2nd Overall Pick:

50% of the 50 mocks munched are projecting Thabeet to Memphis.  Ricky Rubio ruled this part until the actual Lottery.  Rubio is still a close second place here tallying 23 of the 50 mocks projecting him here.

We told you mocks were having a hard time figuring which spot Thabeet would go.  He is the leading pick at #2 with 50% of the mocks, and here, 44% have him listed 3rd overall.   Others listed at 3rd overall:   James Harden (13 mocks), Ricky Rubio (8 mocks)

4th Overall Pick:
