Pretty nice size update for the 2009 NHL Draft, Mock Draft Database here at DC Pro Sports Report. We have updated 9 mock drafts today and added 5 brand new mocks to the Database.

Right now, there is a little movement toward Victor Hedman going to the Isles as the 1st pick, but not much, and I don’t buy it either. I think the easy pick at #1 and the most certain pick is still John Tavares. He is the most NHL ready and has some serious star potential. Victor Hedman is solidifed as the #2 pick. Matt Duchene seems destined at #3 while Evander Kane is a popular choice at #4.
