The Caps go where no Cap has gone since 1998, the Nats do what comes naturally to them, and the Redskins drafted a liar in the 5th round. But first, our top story.
TOP STORY
The Washington Capitals did last night what they have not done since 1998 — win a first round playoff series. We at DC Pro Sports Report
celebrated this milestone in the tasteful and under-stated way you have come to expect from us. The Caps got goals from
Alexander Semin and a game-winning wrister from
Sergei Federov to go with another masterful performance from rookie net-minder
Simeon VarLAmov. And just because you might not have seen it in the last 12 minutes, here is the game-winning goal again…
CAPITALS

Sergei Federov, whose game-winning wrister with 5 minutes left in regulation saved the season.

REDSKINS

Cody Glenn,

was suspended by his college team for 3 games. We knew that. We didn’t
know why. Glenn told the media he was suspended for selling tickets.
That’s not true.
Read it.
2. Good news, Eminem is a Redskins again. Not Marshall Mathers, of course.
Marcus Mason,
the preseason phenom running back. Mason was reluctantly cut by the
Redskins last year and signed to the practice squad of the Baltimore
Ravens and then signed by the NY Jets. After drafting a running back in
the 3rd round of the draft, the Jets cut Mason and now he’s back where
he belongs.
